Jimmy Driscoll is the creative driving force of the Dreyfus Films team. Writer, Actor and Director of “The Fence”, Jimmy, along with Rich Lepoutre of Dreyfus Films and Jim Amann of LA Productions and Entertainment are pleased to announce that their production, “The Fence” will come home to a Connecticut audience on June 30th .

CT Film “The Fence” to be shown in Milford on June 30th
Portion of Proceeds to benefit military families
The 35 minute film, shot along the Connecticut shoreline in 2010 and featuring soldiers from the 134th MP Battalion based in Norwich and focuses on a family’s loss of a son to the Iraq War. Soldiers featured in the film will be on hand and signing autographs, with proceeds going to TAPS, a non-profit organization aimed at offering support to the families of those who have lost their lives in the service of our country.
“Behind the Scenes of The Fence” will be shown immediately following the film and features interviews with the film’s production staff and Gold Star families from around the country, discussing their experiences with losing a family member to war.
“The Fence” has been accepted to several prominent film festivals this summer in Hollywood and New York City and was awarded “Best Regional Short Film” at the SENE Film Festival in Providence and was recently shown during the entire 2012 Memorial Day Weekend at Arlington National Cemetery.

Tickets are $25 for VIP (includes reception and afterparty ) and $10 for General Admission. Percentage of sponsorship/ad proceeds are being donated to the TAPS organization.
(TAPS) Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors is a national non-profit organization made up of and providing services to all those who have lost a loved one on active duty with the Armed Forces.
